When I started working with James I wasn't sure what channel to focus on to achieve my growth targets.  My primary income stream was from wholesale but the profit margin was too slim.  Second to that was doing gift shows (farmer's markets/art shows/holiday markets), but it wasn't scalable.  James took a look at the unique position my brand has in the marketplace and determined that the best strategy for growth was to focus just on e-commerce where sales are much more profitable, and category fit was high for my D2C website. James was also instrumental in helping me to stay focused and not to give up too soon.
